The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Buriano is fabulous. Dense and vibrant, the Cabernet marries varietal intensity with Chianti Classico structure. It's a combination that is quite frankly hugely appealing. Dark red/purplish fruit, rose petal, mocha, licorise and dried herbs are beautifully delineated in this vibrant Cabernet Sauvignon.

Mature and decidedly complex in the sensorial matrix shows notes of black plums, blackberries, sandalwood, juniper berries, licorice, ginseng root and guarana. Lots of black tea leaves describe the secondary scene blending with black pepper and cumin. Full body, excellent soft tannins workmanship and a solid finish with excellent volume and consistency.

Blue and white floral aromatics vie with blackcurrant, lavender, saddle leather and floral underbrush, spice notes tend to fade. Black cherry, cedar shaving, slate and distant sweet tobacco all play a part in this velvety imbibe. Attractive wine.
