Two Vintners Grenache Noir 2016
Forrygende Grenache fra Two Vintners. Dyb og mørk med store mængder frugt. Klassisk kølighed som der i vinene fra Morgan Lees hånd.
90 points Robert ParkerOffering up classic aromas of Bing cherry and white pepper, the 2016 Grenache is medium-bodied and ample, with a sweet core of fruit and youthfully chewy tannins. It delivers a great deal of character and quality for its modest tariff.
91 points Wine EnthusiastThis new offering from the winery combines fruit from Olsen and Boushey vineyards. Light in color, it offers restrained but nuanced plum, fresh herb, orange peel, smoked meat, white pepper and raspberry aromas. There's a pleasing sense of purity to the juicy fruit flavors, making it a very pretty interpretation of the variety. Give it plenty of time to open up.
90 points VinousMostly Olsen vineyard, plus Boushey and Monette's in the Rocks): Bright red. Lovely peppery, herbal lift to the aromas of redcurrant, red cherry, quince and pine needles. Sappy and concentrated but light on its feet, with its good depth leavened by high-pitched wild herb and spice aromatics. This says 14.9% alcohol on the bottle but I can't find the weight. A very distinctive wine.
